Key features
Precautions during coated glass installation
1. Ensure glass does not come into direct contact with metallic substances.
2. Avoid stacking other materials in contact with the glass and take care to prevent heat accumulation between the glass and materials stored nearby.
3. Take care to prevent construction dust, concrete debris, rust from iron, etc., from combining with dew or condensation to form chemicals that cause corrosion on the glass.
4. After glass installation, apply protective film to the glass surface to prevent damage during other building processes. Take care to avoid breakage from falling objects or damage from substances such as welding sparks.
5. After sealant filling, protect the area to prevent foreign matter penetration until curing is complete.
6. Affix glass protection stickers to alert other trades to safeguard the glass.
7. To maintain long-term glass quality and performance, familiarise yourself with the specific precautions for each glass type before installation.
Precautions when processing coated glass
1. All operations involving glass cutting, surface finishing, and hole drilling must be completed before the glass undergoes tempering.
2. No processing may be carried out after tempering. Imperfect cuts may cause thermal breakage; ensure all cuts are clean and straight.
3. Products undergoing processing must be stored with spacers inserted to prevent them from sticking together in damp conditions. Storing them tightly packed makes separation difficult and increases the risk of breakage during separation.
