State of the art glass system that provides a wide open view

Glass Systems

Creating a space without window frames around the glass provides an open design.
This makes the space wider and taller, allowing for a modern and stylish aesthetic.

Applications
• Atrium, sunken garden, lobby, connecting tunnel, exhibition, showroom, etc.

Color
• Clear etc.

Specifications
• Glass specifications vary according to design; separate consultation required.

This glass system is created by drilling special holes in the glass and securing it bolts. The "No Frame" system does not require the use of frames or structural silicone, allowing flexibility in design.

The Low-E insulated glass can be applied to areas requiring insulation, and it provides superior energy saving and reduced condensation.

This glass system uses metal hardware to support glass framework without drilling special holes, and share the same advantages with the existing SPG system, but glass processing is easier due to the absence of glass drilling.

Precautions for design

1. To prevent glass breakage, design must adhere to standard installation drawings. Prior review is essential to ensure thermal breakage does not occur due to uneven thermal stress distribution caused by temperature differentials imposed on the glass surface following installation, arising from various building factors.
2. Heat-absorbing glass, heat-absorbing mesh-embedded glass, etc., may suffer thermal breakage due to temperature differences between areas exposed to direct sunlight and surrounding shaded areas or sections obscured by window frames. To prevent such breakage, the area and shape of shadows cast on the glass surface, the distance between curtains on the interior side of the window and the glass itself, and the material of the window frame.
3. Furthermore, the design must prevent glass breakage due to wind loads. Should breakage under loads exceeding the permissible limit be expected to cause damage, safety measures to prevent secondary damage must be implemented. Fully toughened glass may, in very rare instances, fracture without external impact. This is a natural phenomenon caused by trace amounts of nickel sulphide that may be present in the molten glass. To prevent this, a secondary heating process (Heat Soak) must be applied after the toughening process.
